What is the difference if I order online from your CCO store, & a different online store?

When you purchase with Chester County Outdoors directly, once you check out, the only thing you have to pay for at time of pick up is the $10 background fee. If you purchase with another online retailer, you have the cost of the firearm, shipping, and the transfer fee.

What is the cost of a transfer?

Private Party Transfers - $42.40 for the first firearm, +$10 for each additional firearm (Both present parties need a Valid PA Drivers License)

FFL Transfers - (updated 8-7-24)

ALL TRANSFERS MUST BE APPROVED BY Chester County Outdoors Before we are contacted by the shipping FFL - By contacting us you agree to the below Policies

We will NOT deliver transfers/ firearm if you just show up un-announced.

Customer Name and Phone Number must be on outside label.

FFL Transfers - $55 - The shipping FFL must contact us directly - +$10 for each additional firearm - See Below
Gunbroker Transfers - $75 - + $25 for each additional firearm - The shipping FFL must contact us directly - See Below
NFA Transfers - $125 PER ITEM - Please call store for information, you must have electronic fingerprints. (this is a non refundable charge, in addition to the $200 tax stamp you must pay to ATF) - See Below or call with questions

FFL Transfer Policies

We must approve all transfers before they arrive at the store, The customer needs to contact us before the gun ships to confirm we are able to accept the transfer.

All FFL requests must be made by a valid FFL license holder (transferring FFL dealer).

Per our company's policy we require that the transferring FFL must make initial contact with Chester County Outdoors requesting our FFL.

We will not send our FFL information without a request made by the transferring FFL first - FOR EVERY TRANSFER .

Chester County Outdoors requires a valid FFL to be emailed with the initial request of our FFL.

Customer Name and Phone Number must be on the outside label.

No FFLs will be given to private persons for personal firearm shipments.

We reserve the right to refuse shipments.

When transferring a firearm to Chester County Outdoors please include with the firearm a copy of your FFL along with a Bill of Sale.

The bill of sale should include the customer's information, including name and phone number, along with gun information like make, model, serial number, and date of purchase.

All requests made for Chester County Outdoors FFL will be responded to the same or next business day. If for any reason the FFL has not been received by the end of the business day after the request was made please contact chestercountyoutdoors@gmail.com.

Can you give me a price over the phone/email/social media?

Currently we are very busy and cannot give pricing over the phone. Due to Facebook's gun policy we cannot give out pricing on Social Media,

Do you have any Handgun ammunition for sale?

At this time ammunition, 9mm, 40, 38sp, 357mag, 45, 223, 556 and 22lr is all limited and not available for walk in purchase.

Do you have a gun range?

At this time, We do not have a gun range.

What is your Return Policy?

All returns must be done within 10 days of the purchase date. All returns must be new, unused, and contain all original packaging and accessories. Items cannot be returned if opened.

Sales on the following items are final:

New or Used Firearms
Ammunition
Special Orders
Products sold "as is" or "used"
Items that have been installed or used after receipt.
NFA items
Illumination devices, electronic sights and optics.

All guns in RESEARCH that are canceled/denied will require a 30% RESTOCKING FEE + $100.

What is a Special Order/Online Order?

A Special Order is when a customer calls, emails, or stops in-person to order any product, firearm, accessory, etc that may or may not be currently available at the time of purchase.

We will try our best to give you an estimated time of arrival and availability. We will also call you when all of your items on order arrive and are ready for pick up from our store.

An Online Order is an order placed by the customer from our online store front. Depending on the item(s), firearm(s), and distributor(s) these arrive in a timely manner and sales are Final since you purchased the item online from our store.

All Online Orders arrive to our store location and we will call when they arrive and are ready for pick up.
Items ship from multiple distributors which is why we wait for your entirety of the order to arrive before calling.

Not in Stock or Special Orders are to be Paid in Full at time of order and will require a RESTOCKING FEE of 30% if cancelled.

All NFA items are non-refundable.

Buyer is responsible for knowing their local and state laws.

Any ONLINE purchases that are left longer than 45 days without pick up, are forfeited.
